JAX University, an 84-year-old institution, is transforming its 260-acre campus under the leadership of President Tim Cost. The city approved the permit for The Haskell Co. to build the Jacksonville University Welcome Center at the Institution’s Arlington campus. Completion is expected in early 2019.
On the heels of two mega deals, Flagler Center at $133.2M purchased by a NY investor and The Four at Deerwood bought by a Boston company at almost $50M or a California investor’s recent purchase of the Bank of America Tower and an advisory arm of a German bank that paid $375M for one-half of St Johns Town Center, investors from across the nation and beyond are seeking higher yields in secondary markets such as JAX.
