Study Shows 43,500 Parking Spaces in Downtown JAX
The perception is the urban core doesn’t have enough parking, but a study by Downtown Vision Inc. suggests there are some 43,500 parking spaces, including the city’s nearly 3,200 in four garages and three surface lots plus some 1,600 parking metered spaces. Monthly rates vary by location but the city garages range from $54 to $86. Max Marbut of The JAX Daily Record has the article and more statistics.
