Church Buys Former Sneakers Sports Grille In Baymeadows

Local mega-church, The Church of Eleven22 is making use of some good values brought on by dark retail and commercial uses, taking over a former Wal-Mart and now a vacant sports bar.  It bought the former Sneakers Sports Grille for $2.48M from CenterState Bank and will convert the 19k SF building into a worship center that can accommodate almost 800 people, plus eight classrooms, a nursery, a community room and office space.  Karen Brune Mathis has the story for The Daily Record.
