Bunulu (a new Bealls Inc. concept) to Open at St. Johns Town Center

Bealls Inc. has a new store concept called “Bunulu” that it will be testing in the Northeast Florida market, as well as three other cities in Florida. The local store should open October 15th and will be at the St. Johns Town Center, in a space formerly occupied by Fossil. The store has a coastal lifestyle theme, and will sell mens and womens active and casual clothing and accessories, from brands such as Columbia, Patagonia, North Face, Yeti and GoPro.

Bunulu targets customers who love the outdoors, and the stores will average about 4,000 SF and have a boutique feel to them. Prices will be higher than typical Bealls pricing, however the styles will be similar, in that they both focus on a “Florida lifestyle.” Bunulu is an Aborigine name for “a place of water” and the retailers tag line is “Land. Water. Style.”
