Downtown Trio Project In Jeopardy ?

An investment entity of Shad Khan, Stache Investments Corp., has filed a notice of foreclosure on the Barnett Tower, one of the Laura Street Trio buildings that have been planned for renovation that would include a new Marriott Courtyard.  Local developer Stephen Atkins bought the Trio building in March 2013, the day Stache made its first loan, but apparently not a single payment has been made on that loan nor another one issued in 2014.  Karen Brune Mathis of The JAX Daily Record has the story.
