New 317-Acre Industrial Park Announced for NW JAX – SunPort Industrial Park

SunCap Property Group out of Charlotte, NC, has announced a 317-acre industrial park with a buildout of some 4.8MSF at Lem Turner Road and I-295 in northwest JAX.  The central location is ideal – 2 miles from their airport, 4 miles from I-95, and 11 miles from I-10, and near rail lines and the Intermodal Container Transfer Facility that will be operational by year-end.  They expect pad ready sites to be available by year-end 2015.  Hobart Joost and Guy Preston of Colliers International are handling the marketing of the park, called SunPort Industrial Park.  SunCap, the developer, just built the FedEx Ground facility at Cecil Commerce Center in West JAX which they sold to a private REIT for about $30.65M.  Karen Brune Mathis of The JAX Daily Record has the announcement on SunPort Industrial Park.
