SunTrust Tower Downtown Trades for $31.1M
Mainstreet Capital Partners, based out of Ft. Lauderdale, has bought a majority of the SunTrust tower in downtown Jacksonville for $31.1 million. Mainstreet also purchased the adjacent parking garage, currently under construction and set to open in May. The office tower is a class A, 383k SF, 23-story building in the Jacksonville CBD and was 59% occupied at the time of the sale; but the building is a condominium ownership regime and it is still unclear how much of the 383k that Mainstreet actually purchased.
