UF Health North Opens Tuesday
The first phase of the new UF Health campus opens next week on the north side of JAX, at Maxx Leggett Parkway and I-95 near the airport. Planned for the past eight years, it will become a reality when the 6-story building opens with 28 beds, an emergency room, and multiple other specialty areas, plus offices for 40 UF College of Medicine faculty. Construction will start later in 2015 for a 92-bed hospital that will open in 2017. Alexa Epitropoulos of The JAX Business Journal has the story.
