East San Marco Closer to A New Publix ?

After a decade, the Southbank East San Marco site may be closer to announcing a Publix – at least moreso than it has in recent years.  Regency Centers, which took over as managing partner of the ownership in 2014 from The St. Joe Co. is tight-lipped on the process, but speculation is mounting that the site, long under-served for a grocery store, is making progress.  The latest plan included a Publix of about 45k SF and 245 multi-family units and a 6-level parking garage.  Karen Brune Mathis of The JAX Daily Record has the latest.
