CA-energy Group Buys Waterfront Site for LNG Plant

The JAX Daily Record reports that WesPac Midstream, a California-based energy group, bought a 36-acre parcel adjacent to the Dames Point Marine Terminal in an $11.8M transaction.  They plan to build a liquified natural gas manufacturing plant.  WesPac will partnr wiht Pivotal LNG to build essentially a gas station for LNG powered ships, the first two of which are being built for Sea Star Line by General Dynamics Nassco in JAX.
