More Plans (and a Request for Funding from the City) Revealed for Laura Street Trio Downtown

Max Marbut of The Jax Daily Record reports on an update of the Laura Street Trio and its ambitious plans to revitalize a stagnant block of downtown with a cornucopia of uses including a bank, offices, residential, a hotel, an urban grocery store, restaurant, and a bar.  Ambitious to say the least, but the developer says he has equity lined up; now a lender and apparently the city needs to kick in some type of funding to make it work…up to $7.7M(!), according to the developer.
