Local Non-Profit Looking to Re-Locate HQs to St. Johns Co.
Wounded Warrior Project has applied for economic incentives in St. Johns County for a possible relocation of its Southside HQs in about 2017, taking about 220 existing jobs and adding another 280 (to 500) to either the Nocatee development or the World Golf Village area. They are also looking at sites for a new 150,000 SF HQs in Duval County, but is outgrowing its existing space on Belfort Road off of JTB/I-95 interchange. No deadline for a decision on a relocation has been offered. Sheldon Gardner of The Florida Times-Union has the story.
