Regency Square Mall Update: East vs West?

The mall, sold six months ago to NY investors, appears to be going through its own re-purposing with the east mall surviving and the west side of the mall spiraling downward.  But maybe the west side’s demise is intentional to get the retailers on the east side and to focus on services and office users to the west as the owners chart a course for the mall’s future.  The Florida Times-Union’s Roger Bull has the story on the mall’s history, its future and its challenges.
