JAXPort Dredging Approved, But SAV Stalled

A new Federal budget got a nod for the JAX Port Authority to study and design deepening of the St. Johns River shipping channel from 40′ to 47′, money that makes it one step closer for funding the actual dredging.  Good news for JAX.  Savannah did not fare as well, as the budget failed to recommend deepening of their shipping channel.  Article from The Florida Times-Union.
