Clean Energy Fuels To Build LNG Terminal in JAX
Touting it as the first such plant on the East Coast, Clean Energy Fuels with a consortium known as Eagle LNG Partners, will build a liquified natural gas (LNG) terminal to fuel cargo ships. It will be located on a waterfront site off Zoo Parkway and will be completed in late 2015. Eagle LNG Partners is comprised of Clean Energy Fuels, co-founded by billionaire T. Boone Pickens, and GE Ventures, GE Energy Financial Services, and Ferus Natural Gas. Roger Bull of The Florida Times-Union has the announcement.
